LAPD Motorcycle Officer Suffers Injuries after Colliding with Civilian Vehicle on Alpine Street in Chinatown

 
CHINATOWN, CA (March 14, 2022) – An LAPD motorcycle officer was injured in an accident on Alpine Street in the Chinatown area of Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 2:00 p.m. on March 11 at North Main Street near the Twin Towers Correctional Facility. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the officer collided with a civilian vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the officer to a hospital in unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the condition of the civilian vehicle’s driver was not immediately known.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
