Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Big Rig in Diamond Bar

 
DIAMOND BAR, CA (October 11, 2023) – Mingyuan Zhang was killed in a motorcycle accident in Diamond Bar early Tuesday morning on October 10.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:46 a.m. on 57 Freeway at Sunset Crossing Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Zhang was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a big rig in unclear circumstances.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced Zhang dead at the scene.
 
Zhang was 24 years old, according to the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner.
 
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
