TURLOCK, CA (June 10, 2022) — Michelle Mims died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Main Street near Morgan Road on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers learned about the fatally injured woman around 6:58 a.m.
 
Upon arriving, authorities investigated the scene superficially, learning that a passing driver likely struck 42-year-old Turlock resident Mims.
 
At this time, authorities have no information on the make and model of the car or the events leading to the crash. However, they do believe a driver left after hitting her.
