REDDING, CA (July 19, 2024) — Michael Garcia suffered an injury in a motorcycle accident on Hartnell Avenue near Rockabye Lane.
 
According to Redding Police officers, the two-vehicle crash happened around 12:54 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, 33-year-old Kelly Harrison reversed her minivan from a driveway, entering the path of an oncoming motorcyclist. Subsequently, the motorcyclist collided with the minivan on Hartnell Avenue.
 
Authorities and paramedics responded to the scene just after 12:54 p.m. to find 38-year-old Garcia with major injuries.
 
Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol factored into the collision, but the Redding Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating this crash further.
