ARROYO GRANDE, CA (August 19, 2021) — Michael Benson was arrested in a DUI rollover accident on Ash Street near Elm Street Monday night.
 
According to reports, the single-car crash happened around 9:30 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, 27-year-old Michael Langan Benson crashed into two parked cars, causing his vehicle to overturn.
 
With the help of Good Samaritans nearby, Benson and his children were able to escape the vehicle with minor injuries.
 
Soon after, officers responded and arrested the Arroyo Grande man on suspicion of DUI, booking him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail where he also faces charges for felony child endangerment.
