SIERRA COUNTY, CA (June 24, 2022) — Megan McHugh suffered major injuries in a fatal ATV accident on Belle Street near Highway 49.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, The fatal solo-vehicle accident happened early Wednesday. For possible DUI-related reasons, a driver lost control of an ATV and crashed on Belle Street just off Highway 49.
 
As a result, the 56-year-old operator of the ATV suffered fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released his name.
 
In addition, 35-year-old McHugh suffered serious injuries.
