Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle Ends in Crash in Sacramento Killing Two People

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 16, 2023) – Mashea Jordan and Aphis Nash died in a stolen vehicle pursuit in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento Saturday afternoon on October 14.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, they were pursuing a stolen Tesla around 2:40 p.m. in the area of Amstrong Avenue and Von Karman Street, when the car crashed into a minivan in the 8400 block of Kiefer Boulevard.
 
As a result, one person inside the minivan and the driver of the Tesla both died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, a woman in the minivan was in critical condition.
 
On Monday, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office confirmed the passenger of the minivan who died as 42-year-old Mashea Jordan and the driver of the Tesla as 26-year-old Aphis Nash.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
