38-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies after Colliding with Vehicle in Los Altos Hills

 
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA (February 15, 2024) – Maria Elise Jabon was killed in a bicycle accident in Los Altos Hills Tuesday morning on February 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:43 a.m. on southbound Foothill Expressway near Old Oak Court. According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, Jabon was riding her bicycle when she collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
Jabon suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 38-year-old Los Altos resident, according to the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office.
 
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Specialist Team is handling the investigation.
