Marcos Parra Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99W [Glenn County, CA]

Marcos Parra Hospitalized, Thomas Cronin and David Bianchi Uninjured in Glenn County Motorcycle Crash

 
GLENN COUNTY, CA (October 20, 2022) — Marcos Parra suffered an injury in a motorcycle accident on Highway 99W at Road 68 on October 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle crash happened around 11:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, 23-year-old Parra crashed his southbound motorcycle into a westbound vehicle, driven by 36-year-old Thomas Cronin. As a result, the motorcycle traveled in a southwesterly direction and struck an eastbound car driven by 57-year-old David Bianchi.
 
At some point during the crash, Parra, of Williams, flew off his bike onto the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics found him with a compound fracture to his right leg and major facial injuries. He was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for care.
 
As for Cronin and Bianchi, they reported no injuries in the accident and were wearing their seatbelts at the time.
 
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be the factors in this accident. Although, an investigation into the details should clarify all other outstanding information.
