Marc Ferneau, Laura March Hurt in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 29 near Diamond Mountain Road
CALISTOGA, CA (April 12, 2022) — Marc Ferneau of Napa and Laura March were injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 29 near Diamond Mountain Road on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collision happened around 9:45 p.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, Ferneau allowed his southbound 2018 Harley-Davidson Road Glide to cross the centerline of the highway. Subsequently, the Harley-Davidson collided with the left front of a northbound 2021 Ford F150.
As a result of the crash, Ferneau who was not wearing a helmet. March – who wore a helmet – suffered major injuries in the accident. Soon after, paramedics brought Ferneau to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and March to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Fortunately, neither the 69-year-old nor 66-year-old occupant of the Ford was injured.
At this time, police believe alcohol may have played a factor in the crash. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm this.
