Motorcyclist and Passenger Suffer Injuries after Crash on Fairmount Avenue in Talmadge

 
TALMADGE, CA (March 11, 2024) – A man and a woman were injured in a motorcycle accident on Fairmount Avenue in Talmadge Saturday afternoon on March 9.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the 32-year-old man riding a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound in the 4900 block of Fairmount Avenue when he lost control of the bike and crashed.
 
The impact ejected the man and his 21-year-old female passenger onto the roadway.
 
Paramedics rushed both the man and his passenger to a hospital for treatment. The man suffered serious injuries including an open fracture to his lower right leg. His passenger sustained various abrasions to her hands and lower back.
 
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which is under investigation. They asked anyone with further information to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
