Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Car on Morena Boulevard in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 26, 2024) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian accident on Morena Boulevard near the 5 Freeway.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the pedestrian accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the Bay Ho neighborhood. For an unknown reason, the driver of a Ford F-250 pickup truck did not see a man pushing a shopping cart in the 4200 block of Morena Boulevard. Subsequently, the driver, heading in the same direction as the pedestrian, struck the victim while he was walking.
 
Moments later, the victim went into cardiac arrest but was resuscitated through CPR.
 
At this time, he is fighting for his life at a hospital with a ruptured spleen, a collapsed lung and a fractured pelvis and ribs.
