Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 15, 2023) – A man was severely injured in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach late Thursday evening on May 11.
 
The crash happened around 11:25 p.m. at the intersection with Stark Avenue. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the 34-year-old male pedestrian who was crossing the street when a vehicle struck him in the northbound lanes.
 
After striking the victim, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the man to a hospital with severe injuries.
 
Police are still on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect. Anyone with information was asked to contact Huntington Beach Police Department Traffic Investigator J. Rounds at 714-536-5666.
