Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by SUV on Kettner Boulevard in Midtown Area

 
MIDTOWN, CA (July 19, 2023) – A 63-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Kettner Boulevard in the Midtown area of San Diego early Saturday morning.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was walking across the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard around 1:23 a.m. and was not in a marked crosswalk. He then stepped into the path of a 2015 Honda C-RV driven by a 68-year-old man and was hit.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver stopped and cooperated with police.
