Passenger Dies after Sedan and Large Commercial Vehicle Collide on West Valley Boulevard in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (May 31, 2023) – A man died in a two-vehicle accident on West Valley Boulevard in Pomona Tuesday morning on May 30.
 
According to the Pomona Police Department, a sedan and a large commercial vehicle collided in the 4100 block of West Valley Boulevard around 5:05 a.m.
 
A male passenger in the sedan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Paramedics took the car’s driver to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured.
 
Anyone with further information about the crash was urged to call the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau at 909-620-2048.
