71-Year-Old Man Dies after Hanford Two-Vehicle Accident on 14th Avenue near Fargo Avenue

 
HANFORD, CA (November 23, 2023) – A 71-year-old man died in a two-vehicle accident on 14th Avenue, Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 20, at about 9:22 a.m. An eastbound Hyundai Tucson reportedly attempted to enter the intersection when it collided with a Ford F350 near Fargo Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision caused the Hyundai to travel off the road and hit a power pole.
 
Emergency crews transported an unconscious Hyundai passenger to a local hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
No other injuries were reported.
 
CHP continues to investigate the fatal incident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
