Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Venice Boulevard in Culver City

 
CULVER CITY, CA (March 1, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Venice Boulevard in Culver City early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:15 a.m. on February 26, just east of Robertson Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a vehicle struck the male pedestrian who was walking on the roadway.
 
The driver of the vehicle then fled in an unknown direction, leaving the man with significant injuries.
 
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he later died. His identity was not immediately available.
 
A city reward of up to $50,000 is available for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
