Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Highway 273 in Anderson

 
ANDERSON, CA (August 21, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 273 in Anderson Thursday morning on August 18.
 
The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. just north of Happy Valley Road. According to the CHP, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a westbound Ford Fusion struck him.
 
The impact caused the victim fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
