Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Car on Euclid Avneue in Webster/Ridgeview Neighborhood

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 4, 2022) – A 50-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Euclid Avenue in the Webster/Ridgeview neighborhood early Sunday morning, October 2.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was crossing the street at 1600 Euclid Avenue from the westside when a car struck him near the northbound bike lane around 6:17 a.m.
 
First responders rushed the man to a hospital, where the victim later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The driver was not injured, and alcohol was not a contributing factor to the crash.
 
Police are still investigating the accident. They asked anyone with further information to call the traffic division or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
