Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on 10 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 9, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway in San Bernardino, early Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:16 a.m. on May 4 just west of Hunts Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ford Mustang was traveling eastbound on the freeway at an unknown speed when it struck the male pedestrian who was walking within freeway lanes.
 
Responding emergency medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
It is unknown why the pedestrian was walking on the freeway. An investigation is underway.
