Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported on 10 Freeway in Bloomington

 
BLOOMINGTON, CA (February 24, 2021) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on February 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cedar Avenue around 7:17 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking in the westbound lanes of the freeway prior to the crash. At the same time, a 33-year-old Riverside man was driving a 2008 Jeep Wrangler on the roadway. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result of the collision, emergency medical personnel said the man died at the scene. Officials only identified him as a 43-year-old Lake Elsinore man.
