Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Car on 80 Freeway in Solano County

 
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (October 25, 2023) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on 80 Freeway in Solano County early Friday morning on October 20.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:00 p.m. just before Kidwell Road near Davis. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding his motorcycle along the westbound freeway when he rear-ended a car for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused the motorcycle rider fatal injuries and he died at the scene. Officials only identified him as a 60-year-old Elk Grove resident.
 
No further information available at this time. The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
