Jet Ski Accident on Riverside Drive in Lake Elsinore Leaves 1 Dead

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (September 14, 2023) – A man was killed in a jet ski accident on Riverside Drive in Lake Elsinore Sunday night on September 10.
 
Around 6:56 p.m., deputies were called about a medical emergency at a boat ramp on the lake in the 32000 block of Riverside Drive.
 
Upon arrival, deputies determined that the victim was riding the jet ski on the lake with a family friend when they got involved in a crash. The family friend brought the victim to the boat launch for medical attention. But once there, the victim suffered a medical emergency.
 
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews performed life-saving measures at the scene.
 
The man was then taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he was pronounced dead.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the accident. They asked anyone with further information to contact Deputy Downs at 951-245–3300.
