Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Orangewood Avenue in Orange
ORANGE, CA (January 29, 2024) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Orangewood Avenue in Orange Saturday morning on January 27.
The fatal crash happened around 6:10 a.m. at the 57 Freeway overpass. According to the Orange Police Department, the man was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
After striking him, the driver of the vehicle drove away without stopping.
Arriving paramedics located the man on the south sidewalk with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available and the suspect remains at large.
