Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident on H Street near Belle Terrace

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 24, 2022) — A man suffered fatal injuries after a hit-and-run crash on H Street on Friday, October 21.
 
According to Bakersfield Police Department, a man died at about 8:12 p.m. in the 700 block of South H Street near Belle Terrace.
 
Reports said a Gray GMC Yukon or a similar-sized SUV struck the victim and fled.
 
The man died due to injuries sustained in the crash. His identity was not yet released pending notification of loved ones.
 
The BPD continues to search for the driver involved in the crash. They added that the vehicle involved sustained front-end damage.
