Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Bishop Street in Westminster

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (December 26, 2023) – A 36-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Bishop Street in Westminster early Saturday morning on December 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 4:43 a.m. just west of Brookhurst Street. According to the Westminster Police Department, a small dark-colored sedan struck the man and fled the scene.
 
A witness told police that the suspect car was last seen heading westbound on Bishop Street at Belgrade.
 
Officers pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
