Head-On Accident on Foresthill Road in Placer County Kills 1, Injures Mother and 3 Children
PLACER COUNTY, CA (July 13, 2022) – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Foresthill Road in Placer County on Tuesday afternoon, July 12.
The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. near Drivers Flat Road, several miles northeast of Auburn. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the 43-year-old Foresthill man was driving a green Toyota Corolla west on Foresthill.
At the same time, a mother was driving a blue Acura MBX east on the same road with her three children. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided head-on near the intersection.
As a result, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a sole occupant of the car.
Meanwhile, the mother and her children suffered moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
