DUI Crash on Sierra Highway in Lancaster Leaves 1 Dead

 
LANCASTER, CA (October 24, 2023) – A man was killed in a DUI crash on Sierra Highway in Lancaster late Saturday evening on October 21.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:57 p.m. at Avenue L-8. According the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station, a woman was driving a Chrysler 200 northbound on Sierra Highway when she rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
 
As a result, two men in the pickup truck both suffered severe injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed both victims to a hospital, where the passenger died from his injuries. The driver was listed in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the woman was unharmed. She was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving.
