Man Dies in 2-Car Crash on Avenue F in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (September 23, 2022) — A man died and a woman suffered an injury in a car accident on Avenue F at 30th Street.
 
According to Lt. Clint Skaggs of the Sheriff’s Lancaster station, the fatal two-car accident happened around 8:25 a.m. on Thursday.
 
For unknown reasons, a woman heading northbound on 30th Street ran a stop sign and struck a westbound vehicle at Avenue F.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and firefighters arrived at the scene and found the male driver of the westbound vehicle with fatal wounds. Authorities have yet to release his name.
 
As for the female driver, paramedics took her to Antelope Valley Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the leading cause of the accident or why she ran the stop sign is unavailable. However, investigators will look into the outstanding details of this accident.
