TUJUNGA, CA (April 24, 2023) — A man was injured in a mountain bike accident on Haines Canyon Avenue near Rim of the Valley Trail.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the mountain bike accident happened around 12:20 p.m. near 10599 North Haines Canyon Avenue. For unknown reasons, a 34-year-old man crashed his mountain bike in Tujunga and sustained severe chest injuries.
 
Shortly after, Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded and hoisted the victim into an air rescue helicopter before taking him to a trauma center.
