VISALIA, CA (December 5, 2022) — A man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Avenue 280 in Tulare County on Saturday, December 3.
 
According to Visalia California Highway Patrol, they received reports of a man hit by a vehicle while walking on the south shoulder. They responded to the scene on Avenue 280, just east of Road 140 at around 9:30 p.m.
 
Officers said the driver left the area moving east toward Farmersville.
 
According to investigators, the vehicle that fled the scene left behind some debris. This means that the suspect vehicle sustained some damage to the right side, front bumper, and grille.
 
As for the victim, authorities said they sustained major injuries after the incident. Their condition is still unknown at the moment.
