FONTANA, CA (September 30, 2022) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run car accident on the 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run accident happened around 12:38 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a Toyota in the No. 4 lane. Due to the impact, the Toyota overturned and came to a rest, blocking the No. 4 lane. As for the driver, he or she left the scene without rendering aid.
 
Moments later, paramedics reached the scene and took the 64-year-old man from La Puente to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
