Man Hospitalized in Motorcycle Crash on Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa

 
KEARNY MESA, CA (October 17, 2023) — A man suffered serious injuries in a DUI motorcycle accident on Convoy Street near Convoy Court.
 
According to reports, the motorcycle collision happened early Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, a driver of a Chrysler 300 turned left in front of a northbound motorcyclist. Subsequently, the motorcyclist and the Chrysler collided just after 1:30 a.m.
 
Moments later, paramedics arrived to care for the motorcycle rider who could not feel his legs. Due to his state, paramedics took him to a local hospital. Meanwhile, police interviewed the Chrysler driver, whom they arrested after confirming that DUI played a part.
