Teen Driver Hits Pedestrian on First Street in Fresno Leaving Him with Critical Injuries

 
FRESNO, CA (August 29, 2023) – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident at First Street and Bullard Avenue in Fresno late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on August 26. According to the Fresno Police Department, a teen driver was traveling westbound on Bullard Avenue and was making a northbound turn onto First Street.
 
As the driver proceeded into the intersection, they collided with the pedestrian.
 
When officers arrived, they found the victim on the ground suffering from significant injuries. They transported him to a hospital in critical condition.
 
The man was in his 70s and believed to be unhoused.
