Rollover Crash on Highway 166 in Cuyama Valley Badly Injures Man

 
CUYAMA VALLEY, CA (June 15, 2023) – A man was airlifted in a rollover accident on Highway 166 in Cuyama Valley Monday morning on June 12.
 
The accident happened just after 10:30 a.m. approximately 30 miles west of New Cuyama. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a vehicle was traveling on the highway when it overturned.
 
As a result, the male occupant of the car suffered major injuries. A helicopter took him to a hospital in an unknown condition. It is unclear if he was the driver or a passenger.
 
A ground ambulance transported a woman to a hospital for medical attention.
 
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
