EL MONTE, CA (April 15, 2024) — Maclovio Figueroa faces DUI charges following an accident that injured an officer and damaged a restaurant on Valley Boulevard near Peck Road.
 
According to El Monte Police, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday. As an El Monte Police officer was responding to a call, 47-year-old Figueroa crashed into the patrol car. Subsequently, the officer struck a curb and plowed into Art’s Burger, causing the roof to collapse.
