Macee Meyers Drags CHP Officer on Center Street at Sonora Street in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (June 20, 2022) – Officials identified Macee Meyers as the suspect who dragged a CHP officer on Center Street on June 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Sonora Street around 2:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, authorities had stopped 28-year-old Meyers for suspected DUI prior to the accident. However, she tried to drive off and dragged an officer with the vehicle.
 
Fortunately, the officer is expected to recover.
 
In the end, officers took Meyers into custody for a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and DUI charges.
 
The Stockton Police Department said they are now helping CHP with the DUI case. At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, no other details are available.
