Police Arrest Luis Sandoval for Hit-and-Run after Striking Pedestrian in Oceanside and Leaving the Scene

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (October 10, 2022) – Police arrested Luis Sandoval for hit-and-run crash after seriously injuring pedestrian in Oceanside on September 18.
 
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on North Redondo Drive just east of Martin Street. According to the Oceanside Police Department, 28-year-old Sandoval from Lake Elsinore struck the pedestrian and allegedly fled the scene.
 
The victim, also 28 years old, suffered severe injuries. First responders rushed them to a hospital in critical condition.
 
On September 30, police arrested Sandoval and booked him on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
 
Further investigation is underway.
