53-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Menifee

 
MENIFEE, CA (January 21, 2025) – Lucia Delgado was struck and killed by a vehicle in Menifee Sunday morning on January 19.
 
The fatal crash happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. on McCall Boulevard, just west of Aspel Road. According to the Menifee Police Department, Delgado was in the westbound lanes of the rodway when an unknown vehicle plowed into her.
 
As a result, Delgado suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 53 years old.
 
The driver reportedly fled the scene.
 
Authorities are still trying to locate the vehicle involved and the hit-and-run suspect.
