Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on East Highland Avenue near Osbun Road

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 10, 2023) – Leonel Linares Rodriguez was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino Tuesday evening last month on August 29.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:25 p.m. on East Highland Avenue near Osbun Road. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a vehicle struck Rodriguez who was walking in the area.
 
Rodriguez, a 40-year-old San Bernardino resident, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
It is unknown at this time if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
Police are still investigating the circumstances of this fatality.
