21-Year-Old Leo Tolliver Jr. Dies in Fontana Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway

 
FONTANA, CA (October 11, 2021) – Leo Chance Tolliver Jr. was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Fontana early Thursday morning.
 
The accident happened around 12:37 a.m. on October 7, just north of Sierra Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Tolliver Jr. was driving a black Scion tC sedan when he crashed into the rear of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.
 
The impact ejected Tolliver Jr. from the vehicle. While lying in the roadway, two other vehicles struck him. One dragged him about 50 feet off the freeway.
 
First responders pronounced Tolliver Jr. dead at the scene. He was a 21-year-old Riverside resident, according the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries from the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the fatality to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
