Lawrence Torres Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Arrow Route [Fontana, CA]

57-Year-Old Lawrence Torres Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Arrow Route near Mulberry Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (February 23, 2022) – Lawrence Torres died in a pedestrian accident in the western unincorporated area Fontana, Monday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:26 p.m. on February 21 on Arrow Route near Mulberry Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Torres was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused Torres fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 57-year-old Fontana resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver has stayed or fled the scene after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
