57-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Colton

 
COLTON, CA (September 16, 2023) – Lauri Leilan Hazelrigg was fatally struck by a vehicle in Colton early Sunday morning on September 10.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:49 a.m. in the 1600 block of East Washington Street. According to the Colton Police Department, Hazelrigg was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
First responders pronounced Hazelrigg dead at the scene. She was a 57-year-old Riverside resident.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
