36-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Del Gado Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 18, 2023) – Kody Koenigshofer was killed in a pedestrian accident in Victorville Tuesday evening on March 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:55 p.m. on Del Gado Road, just south of Peral Road. A dark blue 2008 Ford Edge, driven by a 29-year-old man, was heading southbound on Del Gado Road at about 40 mph when it struck the 36-year-old victim who was walking in the roadway.
 
Upon impact, Koenigshofer came to rest on the west shoulder along with the vehicle. First responders rushed him to Desert Valley Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident. They asked anyone with further information to call 760-241-1186.
