Kevin Beelard Dies in Head-On Accident in Placer County, Injures Mother and 3 Children

 
PLACER COUNTY, CA (July 18, 2022) – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Foresthill Road in Placer County on Tuesday afternoon, July 12.
 
According to police records, 43-year-old Kevin Beelard of Foresthill died in the crash.
 
The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. near Drivers Flat Road, several miles northeast of Auburn. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, Beelard was driving a green Toyota Corolla west on Foresthill Road.
 
At the same time, a mother was driving a blue Acura MBX east on the same road with her three children. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided head-on near the intersection.
 
As a result, Beelard died at the scene. He was a sole occupant of his car.
 
Meanwhile, the mother and her children suffered major to moderate injuries and were taken to Sutter Roseville and UC Davis Medical Centers, according to Auburn Area CHP.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
