Juvenile Involved in Pedestrian Accident on East Juniper Avenue in Oildale

 
ATWATER, CA (January 24, 2022) – A Juvenile suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on East Juniper Avenue on January 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Buhach Colony High School at North Buhach Road around 3:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the pedestrian was heading east across North Buhach at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a black two-door Honda traveling northbound struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim sustained moderate to major injuries. Immediately, a helicopter transported the patient to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.
 
Police did not state if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. Also, the CHP is still investigating the case. At this point, no further details are currently available.
 
Avoid distractions when driving. However, focus on the road. Slow down in intersections and give way to people who are crossing the street to prevent an accident. In addition, always pay attention to your surrounding.
