Juliana Ramos Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 99 in Fowler

 
FOWLER, CA (February 10, 2021) – Juliana Ramos was helping a crash victim when a vehicle struck and killed her on Highway 99 on February 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Manning Avenue.
 
Based on a report, officers received a call about a car and a big rig that crashed along the highway. Moments later, another car pulled up near the crash and Ramos ran out to help.
 
Subsequently, she was hit by an SUV. CHP officials say the driver of the SUV stopped and got out of the vehicle for a moment before getting back in and driving away.
 
As a result, Juliana Ramos, a 26-year-old nurse, died from her injuries.
 
CHP officials ask anyone with information about this deadly hit and run crash to call them.
