Juan Aguilar Charged, Child Injured in 2-Car Crash on Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 1, 2024) — Juan Aguilar faces charges after causing a 2-car accident on Hills Valley Road near Manning Avenue on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 7:50 p.m. For unclear reasons, 34-year-old Aguilar allowed his northbound Dodge Durango to cross into oncoming traffic. Subsequently, his Dodge struck a southbound Nissan Titan shuttling five people.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and found all parties trapped in their respective vehicles except one who was able to get out. In total, four people suffered moderate to major injuries, including an 11-year-old girl and the Titan driver both of whom were airlifted from the scene with major injuries.
 
Following the crash, police arrested Aguilar, of Cutler, for unknown reasons. At this time, an investigation into the details should clarify any ambiguous information.
