48-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Cedar Avenue near Bloomington Avenue

 
BLOOMINGTON, CA (August 30, 2021) – Jose Romo died in a pedestrian accident in Bloomington Monday, August 16.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:07 p.m. on Cedar Avenue near Bloomington Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old victim from Bloomington was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
First responders provided life-saving aid to Romo before taking him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, August 17 at 1:50 p.m.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash.

CHP officials are still working on this fatality to determine the exact cause and liability.
