Jose Abrego Dies in Industrial Accident at Farm Plant on North Avenue near Academy Avenue

 
SANGER, CA (February 22, 2024) — Jose Abrego died in an industrial accident at a farming plant on North Avenue near Academy Avenue.
 
According to reports, the deadly industrial incident happened at Pitman Family Farms on Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, 19-year-old Abrego entered a reportedly dangerous area between a tractor-trailer and its wheels. Subsequently, the Pitman Family Farms employee became pinned underneath the semi-trailer.
 
Soon after, emergency responders arrived to try to save Abrego. However, efforts fell short, and he passed away at the scene.
